How effective is SaniGuard® in killing pathogens?

SaniGuard® is effective against all groups of pathogens (bacteria, virus and fungus). All tests were certified and conducted using internationally accepted codes of laboratory practices (CLP). SaniGuard’s technical active was extensively tested against a wide range of naked viruses. The naked viruses, such as Parvovirus, Circoviruses, Reoviruses, Adenoviruses and Birnaviruses, are widely regarded as the most challenging viruses to kill. SaniGuard is effective against all of these viruses.

SaniGuard® is also effective against all enveloped viruses which is generally much more susceptible to the action of disinfectants than the highly resistant naked viruses. SaniGuard® is highly effective against Coronavirus, orthomyxoviruses (Influenza virus) and paramyxovirus (Newcastle disease virus). SaniGuard® was able to achieve a >99.999 killing efficacy within a 5 minute contact time against all viable bacteria in accordance with SANS51276:2009.

SaniGuard® has also achieved a >99.9% killing efficacy against Bacillus subtilis Spores and Clostridium perfringens spores within a 60 minute contact period as prescribed by SANS13704:2002. SaniGuard® should be applied using ULV or Thermal Fog machines, producing the correct droplet size for the target application.

Livestock

Sani Fog products are extensively used in enclosures where animals are kept. These being chicken houses, ostrich and turkey houses, hatcheries, pig farms, stables and dairy farms.

Our products are used for Flies control, Aspergillus fumigatus control, Litter Beetle control, Bacteria control, Mould, Virus and Vectors control. It can also be used for Odour control, as it will kill the bacteria that are responsible for producing foul smells.

Our products and systems help to create the most favourable environment for any breeding program that help livestock to develop at the optimum growth rate with minimum losses. A stress free environment will ensure that the quality of livestock can be maintained at the highest level.

 Storage

Sani Fog offers superior protection to all stored products; these include stored food, fruits, documents, leather, tobacco, silos and others. Sani Fog products are specially formulated to be used with fogging technology. The application is quick and efficient for Mould control, Bacteria control and Virus control as well as for Insect control in packinghouses.

A thermal fogging machine will ensure that the formulation penetrates the entire structure.

Packinghouses

We offer equipment to be used with your current chemical to fog or mist into the packinghouses with a far superior application rate and coverage. Our chemicals will aid to control Moulds, Fungus, Virus, Mycoplasma.

 Treatment of Stored Grains

Stored grains can be protected from Mould, Bacteria and Insects by forcing a flow of air with   Sani Fog Products through the stored grain. This technique can be used as an alternative to fumigation. It is important to use the correct Sani Fog fogging machine that has sufficient output to ensure that the formulation reaches the top of the storage unit.

 

Refrigeration

Sani Fog sanitizes, fungicides and insecticides were formulated to be fogged or misted into refrigeration rooms and refrigerated containers for Mould control as well as trucks and containers for Bacteria, Mould, Virus and Insects control. It can also be used for Odour control, as it will kill the Bacteria that are responsible for producing foul smells

 

Poultry (Aspergillus Fumigatus)

SaniChick® products together with an advanced application technique ensure that   hatcheries and chicken houses are free from Mould, including the deadly Aspergillus fumigatus. We also offer products for the control of crawling insects in particular Litter Beetles control and for the control of their Larvae. In addition we offer solutions for decontamination of production areas,  chicken broiler houses and for  chicken houses disinfection. Our chemicals represent an innovative technology and remarkable solution for the problems    experienced in the industry.

SaniChick® is a revolutionary and unique product that has specifically been developed with the purpose of controlling Aspergillus fumigatus in hatcheries. Aspergillus fumigatus can be responsible for significant mortality levels in chicks and young chickens, and therefore serious  financial losses in this industry often are incurred.

Our solution is a simple to use method that allows complete control of the application process and provides different dosage options for different conditions and room sizes.

SaniChick® is applied trough an electrically operated machine Sani Fog, that produces a very dense fog that floats trough out the space reaching all areas.

Wineries

The Wine Industry suffers from frost damage and Mould problems. Many farmers spend hours at a time scrubbing walls and barrels to inhibit cellars Mould growth. Sani Fog offers a grapes frost protection system that will save time and deliver more accuracy and better results for frost control. Sani Fog also offers time saving solutions to the wine industry for Mould control, by combining our unique product, SaniBev® and fogging technology. This application technique is quick and easy to be used and ensures the control of Mould growth. In addition to solving the Mould problem, our chemicals also establish a sanitised environment. SaniBev® is ionic which enables it to stick to the first surface it comes into contact with. In this way, SaniBev cannot penetrate barrels and affect the quality of the wine. The efficacy of SaniBev® as Mould killing chemical is a function of time and concentration. The time factor refers to the time it takes for the solution to dry on a surface. The longer the chemical takes to dry, the better the killing efficiency will be. It is therefore extremely important to promote conditions where evaporation is minimised. This is achieved by increasing the humidity in the area of application and minimising any air movement. In situations where it is impossible to create these conditions, the concentration of the chemical can be increased to achieve the same killing efficiency. It is important that SaniBev should be applied to cellars at regular intervals to maintain low levels of live Mould and ensure a sanitised environment. SaniBev® represents a breakthrough in Mould control and is affordable, effective and practical.
